Corononcodes homalostemma Barraclough, 1984 View in CoL
Corononcodes homalostemma Barraclough, 1984: 52 View in CoL .
Discussion: This species is still known only from the type series from Belmont Valley, Grahamstown (Eastern Cape). The holotype, nine male and 4 female paratypes were collected in a Malaise trap.
The characteristic head profile and wing venation of this species were illustrated by Barraclough (1984: Figs 25 & 27). Although diificult to discern, pile is present at the dorsomedial extremity of the eye in both sexes. The ocellar tubercle clearly has three ocelli.
