Figures 10 View FIGURE 10 A–B and 11.

1981c Strandesia mamarilorum n. sp. — Victor & Fernando: 490 –493, figs. 110–126.

2009 Pseudostrandesia mamarilorum View in CoL — Savatenalinton & Martens: 19.

Material examined: Three females and two female valves from WN5, two females ( ECNU 20170417/HN35–36) dissected; 18 females from 11DZ17, one female ( ECNU 20171114/HN45) dissected.

Dimensions: Female, LV, n = 2, length 1.069 –1.073 mm, height 0.625 mm; RV, n = 2, length 1.041 –1.044 mm, height 0.602 mm.

Description: Carapace sub-elliptical with four purple bands. Surface of carapace slightly reticulated ( Fig. 11A View FIGURE 11 ). LV overlapping RV both anteriorly and posteriorly. In lateral view, anterior margin more rounded than posterior. Greatest height anterior of mid-length. LV with inner groove along margins except dorsal margin ( Fig. 11B View FIGURE 11 ). Calcified inner lamella with inner list anteriorly. Two tooth-bristles on third endite of Mx slightly serrated. Basal segment of L6 with two d setae ( Fig. 10A View FIGURE 10 ). UR attachment well-developed, with Triebel’s loop situated at middle of dorsal and ventral branches ( Fig. 10B View FIGURE 10 ).

Distribution: This species has been found in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia ( Victor & Fernando 1981c) and Thailand ( Savatenalinton & Martens 2010). This species was found in Wanning and Danzhou on Hainan Island.
