Netelia (Bessobates) nanaki Kaur & Jonathan, 1979: 94 View in CoL .

♂. Head ( Figs 58, 59 View FIGURES 58 – 62 ) about 1.9 times as wide as long; vertex in dorsal view evenly rounded; occiput and interocellar area impunctate and polished; vertex in dorsal view moderately convex; vertex and gena finely and closely punctate; geno-orbital index 2.4–3.1; frons impunctate and finely coriaceous, without median longitudinal groove; face 1.3–1.5 times as wide as long, strongly and sparsely punctate; supraclypeal suture distinct; clypeus 1.9–2.2 times as wide as long, rather more sparsely punctate than face, with apical margin truncate; antenna with 45–52 flagellomeres; 1st flagellomere 1.5–1.6 times as long as 2nd, which is 2.6–3.0 times as long as wide.

Mesosoma ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 58 – 62 ): mesoscutum 1.1–1.3 times as long as wide; scutellum 1.4–1.6 times as long as distance between lateral carinae at its base, lateral carina fading out beyond middle of scutellum; basal 2/3 of propodeum trans-striate, with sublateral propodeal crest absent and represented by apophyses.

Fore tibial spur 0.4–0.6 times as long as 1st tarsomere, which is 10.4–11.6 times as long as wide; fore tarsal claw with 19–34 pectines; hind tarsal claw with 21–26 pectines.

Fore wing ( Fig. 61 View FIGURES 58 – 62 ) with areolet petiolate above; cu-a opposite or distad Rs&M by 1/8–1/5 of cu-a length, weakly curved or almost straight, vertical or slightly reclivous; hind wing ( Fig. 62 View FIGURES 58 – 62 ) with 6–8 distal hamuli; nervellar index 0.4–0.6.

Metasoma with 1st tergum 2.7–3.0 times as long as apical width and 1.4–1.5 times as long as 2nd; subgenital plate ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 63 – 68 ) short with apical margin moderately convex; paramere ( Fig. 67 View FIGURES 63 – 68 ) tapered toward rounded apex; hairs on lamina volsellaris strong and sparse; digitus rounded on dorso-apical corner, ventro-apical corner with 2 teeth; membrane of median surface without papillae; pad moderately large, produced anteriorly; median subapical sclerotized plate weakly produced ventro-anteriorly to form an overhang; penis valve ( Fig. 68 View FIGURES 63 – 68 ) slightly curved ventrally; basal apodeme of aedeagus strongly curved dorsally.

Head yellow; occiput reddish- to brownish-yellow; antenna reddish-yellow. Mesosoma reddish-yellow; mesoscutum with brown to blackish-brown stripes on each of median and lateral lobes; mesosternum brown to blackish-brown; mesopleuron medially and dorsal portion of propodeum slightly brownish. Legs reddish-yellow; hind tarsus whitish-yellow. Wings hyaline; vein C and pterostigma of fore wing pale brownish-yellow, other veins brown. Metasoma reddish-yellow to reddish-brown.

Length of fore wing: 10.5–14.9 mm.
