Joguina Navás, 1912: 98 View in CoL . Type species: Apochrysa nicobarica Brauer, 1864: 899 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. Antennal pedicel constricted basally; both wings with numerous cross-veins throughout; forewing subcostal veinlets with 1–3 semi-regular rows of cross-veins in basal half of wing, 0–1 row in distal half; forewing with single row of cross-veins between RA and RP; forewing RP mostly straight; cross-veins between RA and RP behind pterostigma in both wings; both wings with 1–2 conspicuous pustules (dark markings with associated deformation of wing membrane and veins) in discal area, pterostigma lacking dark spot; both wings with gradate series obscured by irregular cross-veins, 3 gradate series when definable; Psc extending greater than 3/4 of total wing length towards apex; forewing cell c 2 short and broad, poorly defined due to numerous cross-veins; 1A and 2A forked; posterior marginal area of forewing with 1–4 rows of cross-veins, hind wing with 0–3 rows, both wings with two rows in distal third; spermatheca with lateral striations, spermathecal duct long, tightly coiled.
Included species. Joguina borneensis Kimmins, 1952 (Borneo) ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 ); J. malayana Banks, 1931 ( Malaysia) ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ); J. nicobarica (Brauer, 1964) ( India) ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 ); J. unimaculata Winterton, Balakrishnan & Chenthamaraksan sp. n. ( India) ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).
Comments. Joguina contains four relatively similar species that differ only in the number and arrangement of anterior and posterior marginal cross-veins and in the position and number of dark wing pustules. The distinctive features of this genus are the single row of cross-veins between RA and RP basally, one to many irregular rows of cross-veins of anterior and posterior marginal cross-veins, and 1–2 round pustules in the wing while the pterostigmata are unmarked. Joguina is restricted to South-East Asia.
