Kongsbergia (s. str.) ruttneri Walter, 1930 View in CoL View at ENA

Material examined. Type series: Paratype ♀, NHMB 4752 " Säckingen , Bergbach unterh. der Säge, 25.04.1905, O/41, Walter ".

Italy: Sicily, I 551 Int (1/2/0), I 552 Int (1/0/0), I 559 Int (0/1/0); Emilia Romagna, benf 155 ( Gerecke & Di Sabatino 2013) (1/0/0); Romania (?), uncertain collecting sites, material in coll. Schwoerbel ( SMF): " RU 0" (1/1/ 0), " RU X" (2/2/0); Switzerland: NHMB 4753 , " Aspgraben, Bächlein , Kiesbank , 17.06.1945, Walter XVI/13" (1/0/ 0).

Remarks. In the shape of the IV-L-5 (basal part ventrally with a prominent projection bearing the proximoventral seta which is flattened and subtriangular in shape), male K. ruttneri are rather similar to K. angusta . Both sexes of K. ruttneri may be distinguished from K. angusta in the more slender shape of the palp (L/H ratio P- 4> 3.5, in K. angusta <3.5). For further details and figures of this species see Gerecke & Di Sabatino (2013).
