Diagnosis. Recognized by following set of characters: antenna shorter than body length (Carvalho & Lorenzato 1989: fig. 83); dorsum, head, and thoracic pleura punctate ( Figs 11B–D View FIGURE 11 ); labial segment I with subdivision ( Fig. 11E View FIGURE 11 ); pronotum with oval pit between calli ( Fig. 11D View FIGURE 11 ); aedeagus as depicted by Carvalho & Lorenzato (1978: fig. 84).
