Record as epibiont on ostracods: It lives on the outside of the shell of Cypria ophthalmica (Jurine, 1820) and prefers the region near its rim from a natural, eutrophic pond in a forest (“Hauptsmoorwald”) east of Bamberg, Northern Bavaria, Germany ( Schödel 2004).

Remarks: Epibiont on freshwater ostracods.
