Epistylis helicostylum Vavra, 1962

Record as epibiont on ostracods: The species found on Eucypris virens (Jurine, 1820) from shallow ditches 5-30 cm deep at Cekikovice near Prague ( Czech Republic) ( Vavra 1962).

Remarks: It is Vavra’s (1962) opinion that E. helicostylum is specific to the ostracode host.
