Paracineta karunakarani Santhakumari, 1986

Record as epibiont on ostracods: This species was first reported by Santhakumari (1986a) from south west coast of India on an ostracod Cypridina dentata (Müller, 1906) . It was also reported from North Eastern Arabian Sea, 21°59’84” N, 65°59’52” E, on the same ostracod species ( Padmakumar et al. 2015). The epibiont species recently was found on C. dentata in the offshore of Arabian Sea ( Chatterjee et al. 2019b).

Remarks: Reported as epibiont only on ostracods.
