Record as epibiont on ostracods: This species was reported as epibiont on the exoskeleton of Cyclocypris ovum found in Basel, Switzerland ( Keiser 1921, Morado & Small 1995).

Record as epibiont on other hosts: It was also reported as epibiontont isopod Asellus (Asellus) aquaticus (cited as Asellus aquaticus ) from Poland and Slovaquia; on decapods Cambarellus (Cambarellus) zempoalensis (cited as Cambarellus montezumae zempoalensis ) from Mexico and also on Potamon sp.; on amphipods Corophium curvispinum from Hungary; Gammarus pulex ; Gammarus tigrinus from Netherlands; on copepods Cyclops strenuus strenuus (cited as Cyclops strenuus ), Cyclops viridis (Jurine, 1820) , Lernaea cyprinacea from South Africa; on Macrocyclops albidus (Jurine, 1820) (cited as Cyclops albidus ), Macrocyclops fuscus (Jurine, 1820) (cited as Cyclops fuscus ), on notostracan Lepidurus apus (Linnaeus, 1758) from Austria; on cladocerans Scapholeberis mucronata (Müller, 1776) and Sida crystallina (Müller, 1776) from Germany; also reported on Simocephalus vetulus (Müller, 1776), Cyclops sp., Cyclopidae (see Mayén-Estrada & Utz 2018).
