( Figs 1–3 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 View FIGURE 3 )

Chinese name: ẒṱḨē

Specimens examined. Holotype. China: Male, Yunnan, Mengla, Longmen , 17-vi-2023, Wang, Ning & Feng, Zhe coll. ( SNNU) . Paratypes. 2 males. Yunnan, Mengla, Longmen , 17-vi-2023, Wang, Ning & Feng, Zhe coll. ( SNNU) .

Description ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Male. The body is small and covered with a tiny scales ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ). The head flattened in lateral view, vertex board and flattened, armed with slight hairs, and covered with tiny black scales ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ). Occiput with a distinct notch fitting the protuberance of pronotum. The frontal rostrum well-developed, significantly protruding from the head, almost as wide as the antennal scape. Antennal scape trapezoidal, medial narrower than lateral. Ocelli degenerative invisibility. Eye slightly convex, about 1/4 length of head. Enlargement of both sides of the postclypeus and protrudes centrally. Anteclypeus concave on both sides, striated protrusion in center. Labrum degenerative to a semilunar and apical margin slightly concave. Labial palpus three, the first two segments about half as long as the third segment, and the third expanded apically. Maxillary five, the third, and fifth segments are equal in length and slightly longer than the fourth; the apical segment expanded apically.

Pronotum: The posterior margin of the pronotum about 1.5 times wider than the anterior margin. Pronotum with a small protuberance in the middle of anterior margin ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ). Posterior margin covered with white scale. Anterior margin of lateral lobe of pronotum armed with bristles and ventral border with black banks.

Tegmina: forewings slightly wider than the posterior area of the pronotum and posterior dorsal margin curved, covering half of the abdomen. Both oblique vein and chord vein two. Mirror fan-shaped about 4/5 as wide as forewings with a dividing vein. Apical field with a black band extending to the anterior of forewings.

Leg: Fore tibia with internal tympanum oval; without external tympanum. Median tibia covered with black scales. The hind leg longer than the body length and the hind femur 1.3 times longer than the hind tibia. Hind tibia flattened dorsally with abundant short spines (number of the inner: 15–25; number of the outer: 26–32); apical spurs inner two (the dorsal one longer than the ventral spurs) and outer two (ventral one about half length of the dorsal).

Genitalia: Male genitalia consist of internal and external valves ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ). External valves bifurcate from the middle of the ventral and extending dorsally to form separate lobes ( Fig. 3B View FIGURE 3 ). Internal valve lamellar, tapering from anterior to posterior margin, apical covered by an external valve ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ).

Female. Unknow.

Coloration. Vertex, frontal rostrum, cheek, and scapus black, with some dark scale. Maxillary and labial palps yellow-brown, and slightly dark. Pronotal dorsal disc reddish brown; apical margin covered with white scale; lateral lobe black. Tegmen yellow, in dorsal view, apical field with a black band. Median tibia and third tarsus black, other areas yellowish brown.

Measurements. Male (n=3): BL 8.19–8.99, HL 1.88–1.93, HW 1.62–1.70, PL 2.64–2.98, PW 2.61–2.68, FWL 2.03–2.44, HFL 4.84–5.55.

Etymology. This species name refers to the anterior margin of the pronotal disc with a distinct protuberance ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ).

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Remarks. The genital characteristics of this species are similar to those of the alii group: male genitalia consist of internal and external sclerite of lateral valves; external valves bifurcate from the middle of the ventral and extending dorsally to form separate lobes. Internal valve lamellar, tapering, the apical covered by external valve. Here, we assign this species to the alii species group. This species resembles both O. carnificare and O. panda . The pronotum of this species bears a small protuberance in the middle of the anterior margin, whereas, the anterior margin of the pronotal disc is straight in the other two species. Finally, this species has a distictive supra-anal plate quite different from the other species ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ).
