Distribution ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 ). A High Atlas micro-endemic species. The records from Tunisia ( Béjaoui et al. 2003, Béjaoui & Boumaïza 2004) and Algeria ( Aubert 1956, Lounaci & Vinçon 2005) belong to A. berthelemyi Vinçon, Yasri & Lounaci, 2013 ( Yasri et al. 2013) , and those from the Moroccan Rif are A. yasriarum Vinçon, 2014 (Errochdi et al. 2014) .
Ecology. Larvae are strongly crenophilic and orophilic primarily occurring in springs, brooks and small rivers, between 2500 and 2800 m ( Aubert 1956, 1961, Miron 1972, Pihan & Mohati 1983, Bouzidi 1989), and sometimes occurring in lower reaches (Tichka, 1350 m, Sánchez-Ortega coll.). Larvae are detritivores. The flight period is in spring (III–VI).
