1. Head, pronotum, mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum black, with blue metallic tints; vertex strongly convex in frontal view (Fig. 17 in Kimsey 1986); eyes bulging farthest below middle (Fig. 17 in Kimsey 1986); gena without genal carina; scape, pedicel and F1–F3 yellow, F4–F11 brown; legs entirely yellow...........................
