– Type: not designated [possible candidate for lectotype: India, Meghalaya, Khasi Hills, Griffith 1052 (K barcode K000657041!)].

Distribution. – Bhutan and India to S China and Thailand. Closely related to Dysoxylum cyrtobotryum . This taxon and its typification need further analysis.
