Dysoxylum lenticellatum C.Y.Wu in Li, Fl. Yunnan. 1: 251. 1977 – Holotype: China, Xishuangbanna, Mengyang, Manzhang and Huiha, Yunnan team 5711 (KUN [over two sheets] barcodes 1207175 [image!] & 1207175 [image!]).

Distribution. – Myanmar, S China, N Thailand. A similar tree (one individual) has been seen (by DJM in 1974 and 1981) growing in the arboretum at Forest Research Institute, Kepong, Selangor, Malaysia.
