Type host: Pseudotrapelus sinaitus (Sauria: Agamidae ). Type locality: Jordan

Diagnosis (based on the original description in Bochkov et al. 2009). Chelicerae 110 long. Swollen cheliceral part 1.2 times longer than slender distal part. Fixed cheliceral digit barbed. Palpal femur and genu with seta dF longer than dG. Palpal tibia with short claw, palpal tarsus with 3 setae. Subcapitulum with filiform setae n. Hypostome with smooth rounded apex. Idiosoma 480−560 long and 820−860 wide. Dorsum with 4 pairs of barbed an- tero-median setae; 23−28 pairs of barbed antero-lateral setae (12−16 pairs of these setae replaced ventrally); 2 pairs of dorso-median setae: dm1 barbed, dm2 slightly serrate; 2 pairs of slightly apically expanded setae with minute serration in apical part situated medio-laterally and 16−18 pairs of slightly apically expanded peripheral setae with minute serration in apical part. Genital series represented by 1 pair of conspicuous serrate spur-like setae g1. Pseudanal series represented by 4 pairs of apically expanded setae ps1–ps4 with serration in apical half. Leg chaetotaxy as in sinaita group i.e. setae of trochanters I–IV (1–1–1–1), femora I–IV (3–1–1–1), genua I–IV (3–0–0–0), tibiae I–IV (5–3–3–3). Setation of tarsi I−IV as in group B: I 12 setae (ft, tc’, tc”, p’, p”, a’, a”, it’, it”, u’, u”, vs’) and solenidion ω1; II 8 setae (tc’, p’, p”, a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’) and ω1; III and IV with 8 setae each (tc’, p’, p”, a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’). Setae tc’ of legs II–IV and a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’ of legs I–IV smooth.

MALE. Gnathosoma as in female. Idiosoma 270−290 long and 420−450 wide. Dorsum with 15−19 pairs of barbed antero-lateral setae, 5−6 pairs of serrate medio-lateral setae, 2 pairs of serrate dorso-median setae dm1 and dm2, and 4−5 pairs of serrate postero-lateral setae with slightly apically expanded tips. Eyes present. Aedeagus directed forward. Venter. Setae vm1 smooth, vm2 and vm3 serrate. Leg setae as in female, but setae tc’ situated near it’ on common antaxial tubercle.

Type material (not examined). Female holotype and 20 female and male paratypes from Pseudotrapelus sinaitus (Heyden) (Sauria: Agamidae ), JORDAN: Aqaba Province, Ram village, Wadi Rum Desert, tourist desert camp, alt 1446 m, 29’ 34’ N, 35 25’ E, 23 October 2008, coll. R. A. Nazarov and D. A. Melnikov.

Type material deposition. Holotype and most paratypes in the ZISP, 2 female and 2 male paratypes in the UMMZ, 2 female and 2 male paratypes in the IRNSB.

Host and distribution. This species was recorded only from Pseudotrapelus sinaitus from Jordan [Aqaba Province, Ram village, Wadi Rum Desert, tourist desert 63 Camp, alt. 1446 m, 29°34’N, 35°25’E] ( Bochkov et al. 2009) GoogleMaps .
