Pterygosoma blandfordi Fajfer 2016: 344 , figs 1−3, 10 Type host: Psammophilus blanfordanus (Sauria: Agamidae ). Type locality: India (Parambiculam Tiger Reserve).

Diagnosis. FEMALE. Gnathosoma . Chelicerae 170–185 long. Slender distal part 1.4 times shorter than basal swollen part. Fixed cheliceral digit with minute tines. Seta dF and dG subequal in length. Palpal tibia with slender claw; palpal tarsi with 3 setae. Subcapitulum with filiform setae n. Hypostome with small teeth present at rounded apex. Idiosoma 400–505 long and 685–945 wide. Dorsum with 110–139 pairs of slightly serrate and apically expanded setae situated antero-laterally; 3–5 pairs of slightly serrate and paddle-shaped setae located postero-laterally; 2 pairs of slightly serrate paddle-shaped setae dm1 and dm2 situated dorso-medially; 1 pair of slightly serrate paddle-shaped setae situated near genital region and with 20–26 pairs of slightly serrate and flattened peripheral setae of 2 types: shorter and broader setae situated medially, and narrower and longer setae situated laterally. Eyes absent. Venter. Setae vm1 and vm2 smooth, vm3 smooth or with barely discernible serration. Genital slit situated dorsally. Genital series represented by 3 pairs of spine-like setae g1–g3. Setae g1 and g2 barely discernible, setae g3 conspicuous. Pseudanal series represented by 6 pairs of slightly serrate setae ps1–ps6. Legs chaetotaxy as in Table 1 (in 2 paratypes unpaired setae vGII–III present). Setae on each podomere filiform, except for slightly serrate setae dFI–III. Setation of tarsi I–IV as in group B ( Tab. 2). Setae tc’ of legs II–IV and setae a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’ of legs I–IV smooth.

MALE. Unknown.

Type material (examined). Female holotype and 9 female paratypes from Psammophilus blanfordanus (Stoliczka) (Sauria: Agamidae ) ( ZSM no. 261/1987), INDIA: Kerala state, Palakkad district; Parambiculam Tiger Reserve, 13 May 1985, coll. Erdelen.

Type material deposition. Holotype and 5 female paratypes in the AMU, 2 female paratypes in the ZSM and 2 female paratypes in the ZISP.

Host and distribution. This species is known only from Psammophilus blanfordanus from India [Kerala state, Palakkad district; Parambiculam Tiger Reserve] (Fajfer 2016).
