Type host: Laudakia tuberculata (Sauria: Agamidae ). Type locality: India (Katrain).

Redescription. FEMALE (based on 1 lectotype from Laudakia tuberculata ). Gnathosoma . Chelicerae 320 long (345–360 long in 7 non-type specimens from type host species, L. tuberculata ); swollen cheliceral part 145 (130– 145) long, slender distal part 175 (215–225) long. Fixed cheliceral digit about 20 (20) long, with minute tines. Setae dF and dG, 40 (50–65) and 45 (70) long, respectively. In place of tibial claw additional seta in form of eupathidion present. Palpal tarsi with 4 smooth setae. Subcapitulum with filiform setae n, 40–50 long. Peritremes 140 (115–125) long. Hypostome with flattened apex. Idiosoma 1250 (630–1105) long and 1285 (970–1330) wide. Dorsum with about 90 pairs of slightly apically expanded setae, 90–130 (70–170) long, arranged as in Fig. 56 View FIGURE 56 . Eyes absent. Venter with about 65 pairs of slightly apically expanded setae situated medially and laterally. Genital slit situated ventrally. Genital series represented by spine-like setae g1–g4. Setae g1 and g2 25–30 long, g3 and g4 15–20 long. Pseudanal series represented by 1 pair of slightly apically expanded setae ps1 65–70 long. Legs chaetotaxy as in inermis group i.e. setae of trochanters I–IV (1–1–1–1), femora I–IV (3–1–1–1), genua I–IV (2–0–0–1), tibiae I–IV (5–3–3–3). All setae on each podomere filiform, except for slightly serrate setae dFI–IV. Setation of tarsi I–IV as in group A: I 13 setae (ft, tc’, tc”, p’, p”, a’, a”, it’, it”, u’, u”, vs’, vs”) and solenidion ω1; II 8 setae (tc’, p’, p”, a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’) and ω1; III and IV with 8 setae each (tc’, p’, p”, a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’). Setae tc’ of legs II–IV and a’, a”, u’, u”, vs’, vs” of legs I–IV smooth.

MALE. Unknown.

Type material (examined). One female lectotype ( NHM no. 1966.2.22.728) from Laudakia tuberculata (Gray) (Sauria: Agamidae ) ( NHM no. 1953.1.6.7), INDIA: Kullu District, Katrain, 6 January 1934, coll. E. A. Schelpe.

Type material deposition. All type material is deposited in the NHM .

Non-type material (examined). Two females from Laudakia tuberculata ( ZSM no. 7/1975/1) [tail], NEPAL:

South Flank of Annapurna , coll. U. Gruber ; 2 females from same host species ( ZSM no. 116/77) [joints of hind limbs], locality unknown, coll. unknown; 3 females from same host ( ZSM no. 116/1977/1) [hind limbs], INDIA: Kullu district , Manali, coll. U. Gruber.

Host and distribution. This species is known only from Laudakia tuberculata from India [Kullu District, Katrain and Manali] ( Jack 1962a) and Nepal [South Flank of Annapurna] (new locality) (this study).
