Type host: Paralaudakia stoliczkana (Sauria: Agamidae ). Type locality: China (Kashgar).

Diagnosis (based on original description in Jack 1962a). FEMALE. Idiosoma 393−467 long and 783−862 wide. Dorsum. Anterior group consisting of 3 setae, lateral group consisting of 5–6 setae. Medial part with 5−6 pairs of setae, postero-lateral part with 3 pairs of filiform peripheral setae. Eyes absent. Venter. Genital series represented by conspicuous spine-like setae g1−g4. Pseudanal series represented by 5−6 pairs of pseudanal setae ps.

MALE. Unknown.

Type material ( not examined). Holotype from Paralaudakia stoliczkana (Blanford) CHINA: Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region , Kashgar.

Type material deposition. All type material of this species deposited in the NHM is lost (Janet Beccaloni, personal communication) .

Host and distribution. This species is known only from Paralaudakia stoliczkana from China [Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Kashgar] ( Jack 1962b).

Remarks. Since the original description of the species ( Jack 1962b) all attempts to collect specimens of Pterygosoma inermis stoliczkana from the type host and locality were unsuccessful. Moreover, Jack (1962b) did not include any figures of the subspecies in the paper. For these reasons the taxonomical status the subspecies cannot be decided until specimens from the type host and locality are available.
