Kamimuria melli Wu, 1935: 229 View in CoL . Holotype male (Zoologischen Museum, Berlin), Tong-Cuy-San, Kwangtung, China.
Kamimuria melli: Wu, 1935: 303 View in CoL ; Claassen, 1940: 123; Wu, 1940: 331; Zwick, 1977: 116; Du et al., 1999: 61; Stark & Sivec, 2013: 117; Li & Li, 2022: 119.
Amended description of adult male. Head with a subquadrate dark brown ocellar patch ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 ). Tergum 8 without sensilla patch, tergum 9 with a posterior sensilla patch ( Fig. 4b View FIGURE 4 ). Hemitergal lobes recurved, apex narrower in dorsal view and upcurved in lateral view ( Figs. 4b–c View FIGURE 4 ). Aedeagus membranous, basal portion swollen with a medial constriction ( Fig. 4f View FIGURE 4 ); sac is mostly membranous but apex with a pair of projecting dark brown dorsolateral sclerites covered with dense minute spines ( Figs. 4d–e View FIGURE 4 ). A triangular dorsoapical patch of larger spines present near the paired sclerites ( Figs. 4d–e View FIGURE 4 ), below the sclerites with a band of spinulae; medial portion bearing a large membranous lobe projecting opposite to the similar sized distal half of the sac ( Figs. 4d, 4f View FIGURE 4 ).
Female and egg. Unknown.
Examined material. 1 male ( CAUC), China: Guangdong Province, Huizhou City, Nankunshan , light trap, 27.7734 N, 117.6884 E, 859m, 2005.VII.2, leg. Zaifu Xu. GoogleMaps
Distribution. China (Guangdong Province).
Remarks. The type locality, possibly Tonggushan (Tong-Cuy-San) at Guangzhou City, is only approximately 120 km SW of the Nankunshan where the present male was collected. The male was collected in summer, about a month earlier than the holotype. We also present new illustrations and amended descriptions of the head and tergal characters ( Figs. 4a–c View FIGURE 4 ), making for easier identification of this species. This male is mostly identical with the original description except for darker antennae; sensilla patch only present on tergum 9 and the hemitergal lobe bearing a slightly tapering apex show that they are the same species.
