( Figs. 13–28 View FIGURES 13–19 View FIGURES 20–28 )
Description. Female: Body small-sized, elongated, and slender. Head not exerted above upper level of pronotum, anterior margin of vertex almost straight, not protruding beyond eyes; width of vertex equal to width of an eye, median carina before middle conspicuous, lateral margins turned backward. In profile, vertex and frontal costa forming a obtuse angle, frontal costa straight before eyes and protruding as arch between antennae; carinae nearly parallel, width of longitudinal furrow narrower than width of first antennal segment. Antenna filiform, 15- segmented, length of a segment in middle approximately 3–4 times longer than its width, inserted between lower margins of eyes. Eyes globose. Lateral ocelli placed on the middle of anterior margins of eyes.
Disc of pronotum coarse, has numerous protuberances and punctuation, anterior margin of pronotum straight; median carina entire (median carina of pronotum on prozona inconspicuous in some individuals); upper margin of pronotum slightly undulate before shoulders and straight behind shoulders in profile; lateral keels of prozona parallel; humeral angle arched, a little swollen and with abbreviated carinae between shoulders. Caudal end of pronotum narrow, long cone-shaped, surpassing hind femora about 5 mm and reaching apex of hind tibia. Posterior angles of lateral lobes of pronotum produced outwards, obliquely truncate behind, posterior margin of each lateral lobe with two bisinuate. Visible part of tegmina long, ovate, with apex rounded. Hind wings developed, reaching apex of posterior process of pronotum. Fore femur and mid femur elongated, upper and lower margins finely serrated and straight; width of mid femur very narrower than width of tegmina. Hind femur 3.3× as long as wide, antegenicular and genicular denticles right angle. Outer side of hind tibia with six to seven spines and inner side with four to five spines. Hind tarsus consisting of three segments: first longer than third segments; first segment with three pulvilli; three pulvilli equal in length, all apices right angle. Ovipositor narrow and long, length of upper valvulae 3.6 times its width, upper and lower valvulae with slender saw-like teeth. Length of subgenital plate equal to its width, posterior margin of subgenital plate with three teeth.
Body dark brown. Antennae dark brown. Wings black. Fore femur and mid femur dark brown. Hind femur dark brown, with two to three light colour in the outer side. Hind tibia dark brown.
Male. Similar to female, but smaller and narrower. Subgenital plate cone-shaped, apex bifurcated.
Measurements (mm). Length of body ♂ 10.0–11.0, ♀ 12.0–13.0; length of pronotum ♂ 12.0–13.0, ♀ 16.0–17.5; length of hind femur ♂ 5.5–6.0, ♀ 6.0–7.0.

Diagnosis. New species is similar to Bolivaritettix yuexiensis Deng, 2016 from which it differs in vertex and frontal costa forming a obtuse angle in profile (vertex together with frontal costa rounded in B. yuexiensis ), humeral angle arched (humeral angle obtuse in B. yuexiensis ), caudal end of pronotum reaching apex of hind tibia (caudal end of pronotum reaching middle of hind tibia in B. yuexiensis ), width of mid femur very narrower than width of tegmina (width of mid femur equal to width of tegmina in B. yuexiensis ), hind tibia dark brown (hind tibia black, with light brown at base and middle in B. yuexiensis ).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from “ strict ” and “ femura ”, meaning width of mid femur very narrower than width of tegmina.
