Aculus tetanothrix ( Nalepa, 1889)
Bromus inermis Leyss ; CentralNorth Mongolia, Bulgan Aymag, near Bugat locality, meadowsteppe near larch and birch forest, elevation 1300 m.; 4.08.2000; leg. A. Skoracka; 12 females.
Female (1 specimen): (195) long; chelicerae (22) long, shield (43) long, (50) wide, dorsal tubercles (26) apart, directing setae to the rear. Opisthosoma of (61) dorsal annuli and (74) ventral annuli. Genitalia (16) long, (24) wide; genital setae (35) long, tubercles (15) apart.
Male: (150) long; shield (37) long, dorsal setae (25) long. Genitalia (20) wide; genital setae (15) long, tubercles (15) apart.
In descriptions of four new records only the characteristics that differ from those given in the original descriptions are presented. Because Nalepa’s diagnosis (1896) is not complete, specimens of A. hystrix were compared with the description made by Keifer (1944). Nevertheless, some characteristics of specimens of this species, described from many countries, are similar to those of Mongolian specimens ( Meyer 1989; Proeseler 1972; Roivainen 1947; 1951; Sukhareva 1992).
Besides, we have found Novophytoptus stipae Keifer, 1962 on Agropyron cristatum (L.) P. Beauv. and Phytoptus niloticus AbouAwad, 1981 on D. caespitosa , but only one female of both species.
