Type material. Holotype male, CHINA: Taiwan Province: Taizhong County, 24°06'N, 120°24'E, 200–800 m a.s.l., 23.v.2000, light trap, K. Ma (BDN No.14579). Paratype: 1 male, same data as holotype (BDN No. 14580).

Diagnostic characters. The species is similar to N. (N.) minimus Saether, 1977 in AR and the shape of the phallapodeme, but can be easily separated on the distribution of setae on the abdomen and the shape of the inferior volsella.

Etymology. The name refers to Taiwan Province.
