The examined specimens are near Stenolemus lenti Espínola & Silva, 1963 , described from Brazil ( Maldonado 1990). Nevertheless, male specimens are needed to confirm the species identification, since the females examined are badly damaged, and in one specimen the abdomen is wrinkled, so diagnostic details are obscured.
Material examined: COLOMBIA, 1Ψ, Antioquia, Tarazá [7º35'N 75º24'W] (en Anonaceae ), 50 m, IV1971, R. Vélez [ MEFLG]; 1Ψ, [Cundinamarca], Anolaima [4º45'N 74º28'W, 1600 m], 17VI1990, V. Beltrán [ UNAB].
