Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Rare; saxicolous in humid forests; 850–1400 m.
Notes: — The slender rhizomes, small overall size, and blade shape are reminiscent of sect. Squamipedia , but species of that section typically lack phyllopodia. Two syntypes were cited by Rosenstock : Buchtien 284, 285. Isosyntypes of 284 are at S, UC, and US; isosyntypes of 285 are at NY and S; lectotypification is needed .
