Range: —Central Peru to Bolivia (LP, SC).

Ecology: —Rare; epiphytic and saxicolous along rivers and streams, in humid and semihumid forests; 900–1300 m.

Notes: —Very similar to the Venezuelan species E. tantalinum Mickel ; the two may be conspecific.
