Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (CO).
Ecology: —Rare; terrestrial in humid forests; 1300–2000 m.
Notes: —Most similar to P. lehmannii , but that has more pinnule-pairs per pinna (28–45 vs. ca. 25 pinnule-pairs) and fewer petiolar scales that become paler from the bases of the petioles distally towards the rachis.
