Comments. In the original description, L.W. Schaufuss (1887) did not specify the number of specimens he studied. We studied one specimen based on pictures provided by Antoine Mantilleri from the MNHN with bearing the labels “TYPE” and “ SYNTYPE ” and it is here selected as the lectotype.
