Chan. 1 male, 1 females (NHM.2004.35–36), CD227, East Coast of Taiwan, N/ O 'Fishery Researcher 1' TAIWAN 2003, 22º12.04'N 121º05.29'E to 22º08.04'N 121º05.06'E, 1232 to 1260 m; 29/08/2003, coll. T­Y Chan. 8 males, 1 juvenile (NHM.2004.37–45), CD226, East Coast of Taiwan, N/ O 'Fishery Researcher 1' TAIWAN 2003, 22º19.15'N 121º04.63'E to 22º13.68'N 121º06.00'E, 1171 to 1212 m; 29/08/2003, coll. T­Y Chan.

Remarks: This species has been recorded around the north Pacific from Japan to California, and at a wide range of depths between 53 and 1923 m. The present specimens are the southernmost records for the western side of the Pacific.
