Panisopsis thori (Walter, 1907)

Synonym: Thyas thori Walter, 1907 (original designation)

Type material: Deposited at NMHB, Holotype one male catalogue number NMB-ACWA 800, Paratypes one male 802, one female 801, two deuteronymph 803 and 804 (Pers. comm, U. Wüest) .

Type locality: Streams close to the Rhine River, between Germany-Münstertal and Switzerland-Birsfelden.

Geographical distribution: Central Europe, Mediterranean.

Distribution in Portugal: Centre: Beira Litoral ( Valdecasas 1988), in Fonte Fria, Mealhada, Buçaco mountain ( Lundblad 1956).

Ecological notes: Freshwater, at high hydrodynamic sections of streams, up to 2300 m altitude ( Di Sabatino et al. 2010; Walter 1907).
