D e s c r i p t i o n. Leaf, simple, lamina ovate to deltoid, deeply lobed, 2–3 lobes per side, leaf lobe apices acute, base round to cuneate, lamina 18–29 mm long, 17–29 mm wide.

R e m a r k s. The leaves are very similar to the modern C. monogyna . Another modern European species, C. laevigata (POIR.) DC., 1825 , differs by obtuse lobe apices and shallower sinuses.
