Historic records:
“ Guinée portugaise ” (without precise locality) ( LaFerté-Sénectère 1849);
Coli (Quebo) ( TOB) ( Serrano 2009a).
Material examined: Jemberem (Mato Cambeque) (11º 13´26.45´´ N, 15º 01´02.01´´ W, 15 m alt.) ( TOB), 10.VII.2009, 1 female, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC.
Remarks. The species is distributed throughout western and central Africa, reaching the Bioko Island ( EQG) ( Lorenz 2021). The first record was for the old “ Guinée portugaise ” by LaFerté-Sénectère (1849) and later reported for a precise locality (Coli) in Guinea-Bissau by Serrano (2009a). The adult specimen was captured by LT within a semi-humid pristine forest. There are no syntopic species/subspecies for the reported locality.
