( Figs 56–67 View FIGURES 56–61 View FIGURES 62–67 )

Diagnosis. Close to P. kogui n. sp., differing from it in having the posterior side sclerites of the hypandrium with the posterior projection short, not proximally wide, and rounded distally ( Fig. 59 View FIGURES 56–61 ). Mesal endophallic sclerite narrow, with median posterior process conic as in P. cipeca n. sp. ( Fig. 61 View FIGURES 56–61 ).

Male. Color. Body brown to ochre. Head pattern ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 56–61 ) with two brown bands from the inner border of each compound eye to the epistomal sulcus, enclosing the antennal fossae. Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Vertex with small brown irregular areas. Postclypeus with ochre V-shaped area, light brown mesally. Anteclypeus and labrum pale brown. Genae light brown. Postgenae light brown. Antennae pale brown, flagellomeres with apices cream. Maxillary palps pale brown. Tergal lobes of mesothorax pale brown, tergal lobes of metathorax dark brown. Propleura and metapleura light brown, with ochre spots, mesopleura brown. Legs pale brown, coxae and trochanters with ochre spots; tibiae with dark brown areola in setal insertions. Wings hyaline, forewings with pterostigma dark brown, with a large hyaline area distally; a brown marginal band from R4+5 to distal half of 1A; the band shaped like narrow arcs, with hyaline fenestrae on each side of vein ends. Hindwings veins brown. Abdomen light brown, with ochre spots. Sclerites of hypandrium brown. Phallosome dark brown. Epiproct and paraprocts creamy, with ochre spots subcuticularly.

Morphology. Head ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 56–61 ) H/MxW: 1.45; large compound eyes, H/d: 2.90; IO/MxW: 0.74; vertex below the level of the upper border of the compound eyes; outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with 8 denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.41. Forewings ( Fig. 56 View FIGURES 56–61 ) L/W: 2.72; pterostigma: lp/wp: 5.00, elongate, wider in the middle; M six branched; areola postica: la/ha: 1.61, tall, apically rounded. Hindwings ( Fig. 57 View FIGURES 56–61 ) l/w: 3.02; M four-branched. Hypandrium of five sclerites ( Fig. 59 View FIGURES 56–61 ), central sclerite with tufts of long macrosetae on each side; posterior side sclerites with posterior projection short. Phallosome ( Fig. 61 View FIGURES 56–61 ) Y-shaped anteriorly, side struts wide basally; external parameres elongate, with rounded apices, bearing small pores. Five endophallic sclerites. Anterior pair medium sized, broadly subquadrate. Lateral sclerites with wide distal area of internal margin convex, bearing teeth. Mesal sclerite transverse, with posterior processes conic, mesal sclerite processes elongate, basally wide, blunt apically; Paraprocts ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 56–61 ) oval, setae and spicules as illustrated; sensory fields with 24 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 56–61 ) anteriorly convex, posteriorly rounded, with microspicules and setae as illustrated.
