Chorotype. Endemic Ibero-Maghrebian.
Moroccan distribution. Middle Atlas: Azilal ( Kocher 1958) . High Atlas: Marrakech ( Kocher 1958) .

Material examined. Central Plateau: Kénitra. 1 m., S327, 12.IV.2007.
Chorotype. W-Mediterranean.
Moroccan distribution.
Remark. This species was firstly reported from Morocco by Valladares et al. (2018), but without specifying the locality. The species seems typical of temporary waters and only found during winter or early spring ( Valladares et al. 2018). In Morocco it has been found during the middle of spring in slow banks downstream of a dam.
