Chorotype. W-Mediterranean.
Distribution in North Africa. Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia ( Jäch & Skale 2015).
Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Tanger ( Peyerimhoff 1908; Escalera 1914; Orchymont 1935; Kocher 1958; Jäch 1993; Bennas et al. 2001), Tétouan ( Bennas et al. 2001) and Larache ( Escalera 1914; Bennas et al. 2001) and Taza ( Mabrouki et al. 2018). Central Plateau: Kénitra (Orchymont 1935; Kocher 1958; Jäch 1993), Rabat, Casablanca and Benslimane ( Jäch 1993). Middle Atlas: Fès, Beni-Mellal ( Kocher 1958) , Meknès ( Jäch 1993) and Midelt ( Mabrouki et al. 2018). High Atlas : Essaouira ( Kocher 1958).
