Chorotype. Mediterranean.
Distribution in North Africa. Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia ( Jäch & Skale 2015).
Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Tétouan and Al Hoceima ( Bennas et al. 2001). Oriental Plateau: Berkane ( Berrahou et al. 2000). Central Plateau: Casablanca ( Jäch 1992c). Middle Atlas: Fès (Orchymont 1942; Kocher 1958) and Boulemane ( Kocher 1958). High Atlas: Marrakech ( Kocher 1958; Jäch 1992c). Anti Atlas : Agadir Ida-Outanane (Orchymont 1935)
