Type material: Holotype: ♀, China: Hainan: Ledong Co., Jianfengling Mountains, Bishu Villa (E18º74.425', N109º84.269', alt. 977 m), 26 April 2009, G. Tang ( IZCAS, Tang_No. 334).

Paratypes: 2 ♀, China : Hainan: Lingshui Co., Diaoluoshan Mountain , Vacation Village (N18º43.589', E109º52.026', alt. 937 m), 11 December 2007, X.Y. Zhu ( IZCAS, Tang_No. 334) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from the Latin adjective longidens and means long-teeth-shaped, referring to the long epigynal teeth, adjective.

Diagnosis. This new species can be separated from other members of this genus by the narrow median septum, slender epigynal teeth, thin copulatory ducts and thin spermathecae in the female.

Description. Female (holotype measured): Total length 10.00. Prosoma 4.70 long, 4.70 wide; Opisthosoma 5.60 long, 4.20 wide. Body flat, with clavate hairs. Prosoma blackish brown, Clypeus with clavate hairs. Eye area elevated, AER forward. Eye measurements: AME 0.20; ALE 0.22; PME 0.16; PLE 0.22; AME– AME 0.12; AME–ALE 0.20; PME–PME 0.22; PME–PLE 0.44. MOA length 0.64 with front width 0.50 and back width 0.52. Chelicera, gnathecoxa, labium dark brown, chelicerae with 4 pro- and 6 retromarginal teeth including a vestige tooth, with 6 denticles between teeth. Sternum yellowish brown. Femur I swollen medially, bear 3 thick spines with large base. Tibiae I with 5 prolateral, 4 retrolateral thick spines, metatarsi I with 3 prolateral and 3 retrolateral spines. Leg formula: I, III, IV, II; leg measurements: I: 12.20 (3.60, 5.60, 2.00, 1.00); II: 9.60 (3.00, 4.00, 1.80, 0.80); III: 11.20 (3.00, 4.00, 3.00, 1.20); IV: 10.70 (3.20, 3.80, 2.60, 1.10). Opithosoma grayish black with yellow spots. Dorsum with clavate hairs. Venter yellow with grayish black markings.

Epigynum ( Figs 15 C–D, 16 A–B). Epigynal hood situated anteriorly; median septum long; epigynal teeth paired, slender, arising bilaterally; copulatory ducts wider than spermathecae; spermathecae twisted, convoluted; a pair of wrinkled chitinous lamellae covered the posterior part of spermathecae.

Male: Unknown.

Distribution. China (Hainan).

Habitat. We collected the types from the trunk of big trees at night. They rested on the trunk and crawled slowly.

Variation. Total length (female): 7.90, 8.70, 10.00 (n=3).
