Etymology. The specific name is the combination of the Latin bi (meaning two) and prominulus (meaning slightly protuberant), referring to the male palp with 2 proximal small apophyses on the tegulum.

Diagnosis. This new species is similar to Ozyptila nongae Paik, 1974 in the shape of tibial apophyses of palp, but can be separated by: embolus wide, straight (slender, twisted in O. nongae ); copulatory ducts large (slender in O. nongae ).

Description. Male (holotype measured): Total length 4.30. Prosoma 2.60 long, 2.60 wide; opisthosoma 2.30 long, 2.60 wide. Prosoma dark brown, with longitudinal blackish brown markings, dorsum covered with clavate hairs. Eye measurements: AME 0.10; ALE 0.14; PME 0.10; PLE 0.11; AME–AME 0.34; AME–ALE 0.18; PME–PME 0.30; PME–PLE 0.40. MOA length 0.45 with front width 0.51 and back width 0.48. Chelicerae, gnathocoxae and labium dark brown, sternum brown. Legs dark brown with some spines; femora I–IV with 1 dorsal spine; the prolateral spines of tibiae I, II are long than the retrolateral ones; tibiae I–III with 2 dorsal spines, tibia IV with 1 dorsal spine, tibia I with ventral spines: prolateral 1-1-1-1, retrolateral 0-1-1-0, tibia II with 2 pairs of ventral spines; metatarsus I–II with 3 pairs of ventral spines. Leg formula: 1243; leg measurements: I: 7.90 (2.30, 2.70, 1.80, 1.10); II: 7.60 (2.30, 2.60, 1.70, 1.00); III: 4.70 (1.50, 1.60, 0.90, 0.70); IV: 5.45 (1.70, 1.90, 1.10, 0.75). Opisthosoma yellowish brown with dark brown markings, dorsum covered with clavate hairs. Venter with dark brown lines.
