Other material examined. China: Hainan: 1 ♂, 1 ♀, Ledong Co., Jianfengling Mountains , Five Division, 10 May 1977, M.B. Gu ( IZCAS) .

Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from the Latin adjective multus, and means many or plenty, referring to the large number of collection specimens.

Diagnosis. The male of this new species is similar to O. forcipata (see Zhang & Yin 1998: 6–8, types in HNU now, examined) in having the fork-shaped distal part of RTA. It can be separated from the latter by: the long low branch of the distal RTA (the upper branch of the distal RTA is long in O. forcipata ), large, oppositely opened hoods (small and opened forwards in O. forcipata ). This new species can be separated from O. capitulate (see Tang & Li 2009a: 55–57) by: the thick copulatory ducts, which are half the length of spermathecae (copulatory ducts slender, longer than spermathecae in O. capitulate ).

Description. Male (holotype measured): Total length 8.00. Prosoma 2.80 long, 2.05 wide; opisthosoma 5.30 long, 1.00 wide. Prosoma flat, yellowish brown, head area brown. Tubercle of ALE and PLE grayish white, large and continuous. Eye measurements: AME 0.06; ALE 0.13; PME 0.05; PLE 0.12; AME–AME 0.10; AME–ALE 0.10; PME–PME 0.18; PME–PLE 0.24. MOA length 0.34 with front width 0.25 and back width 0.28. Chelicerae, gnathocoxae, labium brown, sternum yellow. Legs yellow with long spines. Palp ( Figs 31 B–D, 33 A–B). Palp with VTA digitiform, RTA forcipiform distally, strong sclerotized; bulb flat; embolus short, spinous.
