Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from the Latin adjective oblatus , and means flat globular, referring to the shape of the spermatheca.

Diagnosis. This new species is similar to P. rhombus (see Tang & Li 2009b: 712–721), but can be separated from the latter by the hood that is distinctly separated from copulatory openings (hood next to copulatory openings in P. rhombus ); and the oblates-shaped spermathecae (long kidney-shaped in P. rhombus ).

Description. Female (holotype measured): Total length 9.50. Prosoma 4.20 long, 4.00 wide; Opisthosoma 5.00 long, 5.20 wide. Prosoma yellow with grayish black hairs. AER forward, tubercles of ALE with clustered hairs. Eye measurements: AME 0.08; ALE 0.16; PME 0.12; PLE 0.13; AME–AME 0.18; AME– ALE 0.16; PME–PME 0.28; PME–PLE 0.24. MOA length 0.50 with front width 0.30 and back width 0.46. Chelicera, gnathocoxa, labium and sternum grayish black. Chelicerae with 3 pro- and 3 retromarginal teeth. Femur I with thick spines and clustered hairs. Tibiae, metatarsi of I, II with 3, 3 pairs of ventral spines, respectively. Leg formula: II, I, IV, III; leg measurements: I: 11.80 (3.50, 5.00, 2.00, 1.30); II: 11.90 (3.70, 5.00, 2.00, 1.20); III: 7.70 (2.40, 3.10, 1.20, 1.00); IV: 8.10 (2.70, 3.10, 1.30, 1.00). Opithosomal dorsum with grayish black markings. Venter grayish yellow.

Epigynum ( Figs 40 B–C, 41 A–B). Epigynum with a hood anteriorly situated, copulatory openings and epigynal teeth in close contact, copulatory ducts short. Spermathecae flat, globular, with a small head.

Distribution. China (Hainan). Only known from the type locality.
