Remarks: Placed in Kelloggia by Hopkins & Clay (1952: 166). There are two specimens (one slide mounted and other in alcohol) regarded as ‘allotype’, Guimarães & Lane (1937: 9) only mentioned the holotype male and other males they studied. The specimen listed above was labeled as the ‘allotype’ after the original description of the species; it has no type value.
