Note. Subías (2022) identified this species as congeneric with P. bryobius Jacot, 1930 , possibly agreeing with the opinion of Beck et al. (2014). However, these two species differ considerably by the length of notogastral setae: long, c 1> c 1 - d 1 or h 1>2 h 1 - ps 1 in P. opacus (versus these setae shorter than appropriate distances in P. bryobius ).
