Diagnosis. Forewing length is 12–13.5 mm in males and 13–15 mm in females. Externally, male of the new species is undistinguishable from that of the sympatric B. diehli , but female differs by its lighter forewing due to the narrower and less diffuse markings. The male genital capsule of B. ketiga sp. n. is very similar to that of B. diehli and the differences between the two species are in their vesica structures: in B. ketiga sp. n. the ventral diverticulum is broader, has a subdiverticulum directed anteriorly, and bears a larger number of slightly more robust spines; the dorsal distal diverticula are larger and the 2 nd one bears a larger number of more robust spines in general. In total, the vesica of the new species bears a larger number of cornuti than that of B. diehli : from 13 to 20 in specimens dissected (viz. 6 to 11 in B. diehli ). The differences in female genitalia structures of the two species correspond to the differences in their male vesicae: the female genitalia of B. ketiga sp. n. differ from those of B. diehli by the larger left and right sclerotized protrusions of the posterior section of corpus bursae (correspond to larger diverticula bearing a larger number of more robust spines), and the presence of the membranous accessory of the anterior section of corpus bursae posteriorly (corresponds to the presence of the subdiverticulum of the ventral diverticulum).

Distribution. Peninsular Malaysia ( Bucsek 2014, as B. phaeoxanthia partly), West Thailand (Tak Province) ( Černý & Pinratana 2009, as B. phaeoxanthia partly), Southwest China (Yunnan Province), South Laos (Champasak Province) and South Vietnam (Lâm Đồng Province).
