Nemotois chalcophyllis Meyrick, 1935: 96 (LT: China, Chekiang [Zhejiang], West-Tien-Mu-Shan [Mt. Tianmushan]). Nematopogon chalcophyllis: Nielsen 1985: 35 View in CoL ; Wu & Pan 2001: 535 (list); Hua 2005: 2 (list of China).

Distribution. China (Zhejiang).
Remarks. This species is endemic to China and is only known from the type locality (Zhejiang, Mt.Tianmushan) ( Nielsen 1985; Kozlov 2001).
