( Figs. 40–43 View FIGURES 40–43 )
Isabel Kirkaldy 1902: 58 (as new genus) (type species by original designation: Capso (sic) ravana Kirby 1891 from Pundaloya, Sri Lanka). Isabel: Pathak 1969: 35 – 37 (citation from India in PhD); Carvalho & Gross 1979: 513 – 516, 517, 518 (redescription); Schuh 1995: 680 – 681 (catalogue); Zheng et al. 2005: 54 – 56 (redescription, in fauna); Schuh 2002 – 2013 (online catalogue).
Diagnosis. Elongate, relatively large (total length between 7.0 and 7.8 mm), dorsally glabrous bugs. Vertex sulcate. Eyes neither prominent, nor substylate, obviously separated from pronotal collar. First antennal segment subbasally incrassate, relatively thick, elongate. Second antennal segment elongate (about three times longer than head width across eyes), thickened sub-apically. Pronotal collar long, obviously longer than first antennal segment maximal width, slightly striate transversally. Pronotal callosities wide, medially separated, reaching pronotal lateral margins. Humeral angles pointed, obviously produced. Pronotal disk slightly striate transversally, its punctation narrow and shallow, relatively dense apically. Pronotal lateral margins concave to sigmoid, deeply narrowed at anterior third. Mesoscutum uncovered. Lateral sides of scutellum not crenelated. A line of deep and wide points present along clavo-corial and embolio-corial sutures. Clavus opaque. Corium including embolium transparent to translucent. Membrane with a pair of elongate, curved, medial stripes.
Distribution. Monospecific genus, known from China, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines islands and Sri Lanka ( CARVALHO & GROSS 1979).
