Rhynchopalpus grisealis Swinhoe, 1895 , Transactions of the Entomological Society of London 1895: 25.
Manoba grisealis (Swinhoe, 1895) : Holloway, 2003, Moths of Boreno, 18
TL: Cherrapunji , Meghalaya, India. Syntypes .
TD: BMNH.
Distribution in India: Meghalaya, Khasis hills ( Poole 1989); NE Himalaya ( Holloway 2003). Elsewhere: The species has not been published from other countries to date. Nevertheless, there are specimens from Nepal and Cambodia deposited in the collection of MWM. Remarks: Holloway (2003) treated it as valid species and Manoba microphasma (Butler, 1885) has only been reported from Japan, hence the latter is not included here.
