Distribution. Australia, Indonesia (Maluku, Sulawesi), Malaysia, Philippines (Leyte, Luzon, Mindanao), Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Vanuatu ( Baehr, 2016).

Systematic notes: A well-known species, with a wide distribution, belonging to a genus mainly distributed in Australia and New Guinea.
