Diagnosis. Species characterized by the polished mesonotum and the long area petiolaris on propodeum. Anterior part of mesosoma often largely bright orange.

Description. Seyrig (1952).

Host records. Apanteles sp. ( Hymenoptera : Braconidae ) ex Napta serratilinea ( Lepidoptera : Lasiocampidae ) and Nephele densoi ( Lepidoptera : Sphingidae ) on mimosa (Mimosa sp.) ( Seyrig, 1952).

Distribution records. Reunion (new record). Madagascar.
