Megastylus vagabundus Seyrig, 1934 View in CoL

( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 b)

Megastylus mascarensis Benoit, 1957: 311 View in CoL syn. nov.

Diagnosis. The open areolet on fore wing and the separation between face and clypeus prevent confusion with any other Orthocentrinae in the subregion.

Description. Seyrig (1934).

Comments. Benoit (1957) described M. mascarenscis according to some slight structural differences with M. vagabundus . These differences are not constant in the material observed and M. mascarenscis Benoit is now considered as synonym.

Distribution records. Reunion. Madagascar.
