Diagnosis. The characterization of E. dubius needs a close examination. The characters in the key should avoid confusion with other species without a central alar sclerite and with inter-ocellar area yellow or orange.
Description. Gauld & Mitchell (1978).
Host records. Anomis leona , Chrysodeixis chalcites ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ) and Plusia sp. ( Lepidoptera : Plusiidae) ( Gauld & Mitchell 1978).
Comments. One of the commonest African species of Enicospilus .
Distribution records. Reunion (new record). Widely distributed throughout Africa to Madagascar and Comoros ( Gauld & Mitchell, 1978).
